Why we Built This Shop
Gemstar Car Detail exists because the Treasure Valley deserved better than tunnel washes and pop-up detailers. We've watched Caldwell drivers bring in vehicles ruined by spinning brushes and bait-and-switch quotes. We built this shop at 3031 Syringa Ln to be the opposite of that. A fixed Caldwell address, climate-controlled bays, manufacturer-certified ceramic installers, and itemized written quotes.
We are hand-wash only. Every vehicle gets the two-bucket method, pH-neutral foam, dedicated mitts, and iron decontamination before any polish or coating touches the paint. Our detail floor doesn't take shortcuts because the vehicles we work on aren't shortcuts to the people who own them.
We work on the daily-driver pickup that hauls kids and tools both. We work on the family SUV that's seen ten Idaho winters. We work on the wakeboard boat that comes off Lake Lowell coated in hard water and ag-route dust. And we work on the Cascade-bound RV that needs to come back from a season's storage looking like it just rolled off the lot.
Idaho doesn't care that your vehicle is shiny. Mag chloride brine eats clear coat. Two hundred sunny days fade trim and paint. Canyon County agricultural dust embeds in everything. We built our process around those four conditions, not around what looks impressive in a YouTube video.

Built for Real Detailing
Our Caldwell facility includes climate-controlled bays for ceramic curing, dedicated correction stalls with multi-light inspection, separate interior steam stations, and indoor RV/boat-capable bays. No driveway work. No mobile setups. No improvised lighting.
Climate control matters. Ceramic coatings need controlled humidity to cure properly. Paint correction needs predictable lighting. Interior steam needs ventilation. We built this shop with those requirements baked in from day one.
